Dealers Charitable Foundation donates CPR Equipment to the
Canfield
Local
School District
The
Canfield
Local
School District
was the recent recipient of a junior CPR mannequin and a
4-pack of adult CPR training mannequins, donated by the
National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation and the Ohio
Automobile Dealers Association. A formal presentation was made
at Bob and Chuck Eddy’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep in
Austintown
on Tuesday May 22, to Canfield Local Schools. Ohio's NADA
Director,
Chuck Eddy, presented the training units to Canfield Local
Schools Superintendent, Dante Zambrini, Canfield
High School Physical Education and Health Teacher, Mike
Strohecker and Business Manager, Rich Archer.
As
an ambassador for the National Automobile Dealers Charitable
Foundation (NADCF), the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association (OADA)
donates CPR Training mannequins to qualified organizations
throughout
Ohio
. OADA has been involved in CPR equipment donation for over
ten years and has donated hundreds of units to organizations
that train individuals on how to save a life. In recent years,
OADA has delivered training manikins to a number of
organizations including the
Ridgewood
Local
School District
in
West Lafayette
, American Red Cross in
Delaware
,
Licking
County
Memorial
Hospital
in
Newark
and
Coshocton
City
Schools
.
The
National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation (NADCF),
part of National Automobile Dealers Association, is located in
McLean
,
Virginia
. Its membership includes 20,000
U.S.
franchised motor vehicle dealers. The OADA, located in
Dublin
,
Ohio
, represents over 900 franchised new-car, truck, motorcycle
and RV dealers in the State of
Ohio
.

Atwood
Lake
Park
Receives Lifesaving CPR Training Units from Auto Dealers
On
June 11, the
Atwood
Lake
Park
received a four cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training
units and an AED training unit on behalf of the National
Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation. Jeff James of
Wendell Ford Sales in Waynesburg presented the CPR mannequins
to Atwood Lake Park Ranger, Jeremy Hoffer. “Hopefully this
training is something we never have to use, but in the event
that something does happen, we want everyone to be prepared to
handle the situation and save a life.” said Jeremy.
“Auto
dealers throughout the country and here in central
Ohio
have devoted much of their time and money to the development
of projects that enrich lives in the community,” Tim Doran,
executive vice president of CADA, said.
“This donation will help save lives and give comfort
and security to those trained in CPR.”
