Benjamin Franklin told us that there are two certainties in the world - death and taxes. In the second session, we dive into the second certainty as OADA is joined by the experts at the Ohio Department of Taxation to provide a brief overview of Ohio's sales tax provisions affecting motor vehicle transactions and a dealership's obligation to collect and remit Ohio sales taxes. We will also take a deep dive into how to appropriately handle nonresident transactions and common concerns and scenarios that dealerships face. Finally, we will review common scenarios with those in active-duty military.
