First Quarterly Meeting of 2015 Has Been Scheduled!
The first quarterly meeting for 2015 has been scheduled, so please mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 4 for a 9am breakfast. The meeting will be held at the SeaGate Convention Centre, 401 Jefferson Avenue, Toledo. The breakfast and meeting will be held in Room 219, and will last approximately 90 minutes.
We encourage you to attend, or to send a representative from your dealership. The featured speaker for this meeting will be Deanna Stockamp from Stockamp & Brown, OADA's outside counsel. Deanna will be making a presentation on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and what recent enforcement means to your dealership. Over the course of the past year the industry has seen the CFPB become very aggressive with enforcement actions. Dealers are concerned about the CFPB and how its activities may affect dealership operations, and legal exposure. This is a terrific opportunity to have your concerns addressed, and to bring your questions!
After the meeting, we have made arrangements for dealers to meet with representatives from the media to talk about, and to promote, the Toledo Auto Show. We will be finalizing these details in the coming weeks. In addition, interested attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the exhibit hall if they would like.
