On September 14, 2016, Ohio's OADA-backed Franchise legislation went into effect creating a new formula for determining dealer's "retail rates". This new process gives dealers the opportunity to see huge growth in warranty revenue without doing anything differently in their service department.
This session will expand on OADA's recent webinar and define the opportunities, challenges, and solutions in an area that may just be one of the most misunderstood subjects in the retail automotive industry.
This session will demystify the:
- True definition of retail (it's not MSRP);
- Inherent complexity of the new law;
- Manufacturers' submission protocols;
- Process of Optimization;
- Factory warranty managers' techniques; and
- Manufacturer push-back and resolution
In addition to understanding the theory, we will be digging into how manufacturers are responding to the new law and what you can expect from your manufacturer throughout the submission process.
