Sales Tax Notice -- Vendor Discount Rate Decrease       

The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) reminds all Ohio vendors that the vendor discount rate changes as of July 1, 2007.
  
For Ohio sales tax returns filed on form UST-1, filed timely after July 1, 2007, the vendor discount decreases from .9% to .75%. For motor vehicle and watercraft dealers, any vehicle or watercraft sold on or after July 1, 2007 will be subject to the new discount rate of .75%.
