Terry Gordon of Roush Honda, 61, dies

BELLVILLE , OH : Terry W. Gordon, 61, died Saturday morning, April 22, 2006 , in MedCentral Mansfield Emergency Room.

 

He was born June 12, 1944 in Mount Vernon to Ellis N. and Zenia E. Barrett Gordon and was graduated from Cardington Lincoln high school with the class of 1962.

 

Terry graduated from Ashland University with his Bachelors in Education degree in 1967 before earning his Masters and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 1986.

 

He was an avid jogger – everyone in Bellville recognized him as he went by – who also enjoyed riding his scooter and working in his yard, but his passion was his daughter and granddaughter. He will be remembered as one who loved serving others.

 

Terry was employed for the past few years by Roush Honda in Westerville , serving in public relations.

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 27, 2006 in Bryn Zion Cemetery .

 

Memorial contributions to Clear Fork Valley Foundation may be made at the funeral home.
