TADA/ADUK Endowed Scholarship Awards $16,000 to University of Toledo Students

Early last month, the Toledo Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) and Auto Dealers United for Kids (ADUK) awarded $16,000 worth of scholarships to five university students.

The recipients each received $3,200 towards their education at The University of Toledo. Each student met the academic requirements of the scholarship and is a relative of someone employed by an Association member.

TADA President Zach Doran, along with Paul Devers of Vin Devers Autohaus of Sylvania, Jim Dunn of Dunn Chevrolet, Jeff Robinson of Ballas Buick GMC, John Yark of Yark Automotive and Mike Rouen of Rouen Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM presented the scholarships at the TADA Quarterly Meeting held August 6th at the Toledo Country Club.

TADA ADUK Endowed Scholarship winners

 


 

The TADA/ADUK Endowed Scholarship is designed to benefit students who are employees or relatives of an employee of Association members (son, daughter, granddaughter, grandson, niece, nephew, brother or sister). 

The scholarship is based upon academic merit with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference is given to students majoring in or planning to major in areas related to and benefiting the automobile industry (Engineering, Business, Finance, Professional Sales, and Technology). Other areas of study may be considered on a case by case basis.

Students must have a valid Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file in the office of student financial aid at the university of their choosing. If you are interested in and eligible for this scholarship, you can find the application HERE.
