Steve is the Senior Manager in charge of the Schneider Downs Columbus Office IT Audit Services within the Internal Audit and Risk Advisory Services practice. Steve has over 27 years of significant technical leadership experience across multiple business sectors including defense, government, healthcare, financial services and high technology, and he is a retired U.S. Navy Commander who specialized in information assurance and cyber intelligence. His 24 years in the information technology field includes 12 years of IT audit and security expertise. Steve oversees all facets of IT audit and advisory services including cybersecurity assessments, SOC 1 and 2 examinations, enterprise risk assessments, regulatory compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA, business continuity planning and nontraditional IT risk services.
