RESCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 4!     If you process credit cards at your dealership, you’ve heard of EMV. EMV, which stands for Europay, MasterCard and Visa, is a global standard for cards equipped with computer chips and the technology used to authenticate chip-card transactions. The premise behind the introduction and implementation of EMV, in a nutshell, is to improve security.

So what does this mean for you? By October 1, merchants were required to become EMV ready. If you haven’t done so yet, and aren’t sure how to proceed, OADA is here to help.

We are pleased to welcome Tanya Seabrooks, Merchant Advocate from TSYS Merchant Solutions, OADA’s endorsed partner for credit card processing, to talk about this important transition. While the process is simple, don’t overlook the importance of getting it completed! After the October 1 deadline passed, the liability for a fraud or breach will shift to whichever party is the least EMV-compliant in a fraudulent transaction.

This quick 30 minute webinar will cover:

  • The background of EMV
  • Compliance options
  • How the liability shift works
  • Customer interactions
  • And more!

Connection fee is $20 for OADA members, with a $50 connection fee for non-member dealers. Register today!
